Teach Me How to Whack!

It's time to put your knowledge of whacking bushes to good use as you help educate the next generation! Take a trip to the Event Area of the Commons and get helping!

The Junior Whackers

Help three aspiring young ones learn how to whack bushes, mana whack, and power whack! Bring the Jr. Whackers some Cardboard Swords to use, found in bushes throughout the world, and they'll share the spoils of their training with you. As you help them, they gain experience, "leveling up" and will award more items with each turn-in. Each of the determined young padawans will have a daily quest to power up the spoils from their next turn-in.

Badges!

Another Jr. Whacker is pursuing their Capitalism badge. After you help them achieve that, perhaps they'll try their hand at Socialism?

What's more fun than to earn than your Baking badge? Nothing of course! Help one Jr. Whacker get theirs later on in the event.

Help Keisha get her camping badge again this year! Check back daily for her quest unlocks.

Another aspiring whacker seeks their environmental conservation badge! Help them plant saplings and unlock their unique Ye Environmental Conservator's Equipage store!

Target Practice

A young student of the bush whacking arts challenges you to whack more than 100 cardboard bushes before the end of the event! This is a challenging quest, and we hope you enjoy it. Note: Quest Odds will not increase the likelihood of these cardboard bushes to appear.

Nate?

One strange Jr. Whacker appears to be idolizing Nate. Talk to them and see what's going on.

Nate's Minions

If you've kept up with Nate's saga in this event, Nate has collected a gaggle of jr treasure hunters, or minions, as he likes to call them. Unsurprisingly, Nate's minions still aren't happy with their working conditions. Help Nate with a daily quest to meet his minions demands.

VIP Rewards!

Active VIP members can claim unique rewards based on their event progress! If you don't have an active membership, you have the entire event to consider becoming one! You can earn and claim these rewards until the end of the event.

Idle Champions - Introducing The Bastion

Do you ever get lost while exploring Idle Champions' nine-plus years of campaign content? Forget about a feature that could have been useful? Wonder what your Champions do when they're not out endlessly defeating their foes? The Bastion is here to help!

The Bastion is a new pathing & navigation system designed to help guide you through the features and functionality of Idle Champions. It is a sprawling 15-room manor where your Champions can rest and relax between adventures. Each room is associated with one or more game features, and each room unlocks in sequence to introduce new players to the limitless depth of Idle Champions one feature at a time.

We've been talking about the Bastion system for a while now on our Thursday Dev Insights Twitch Stream, and we're excited to announce that as of today, it is entering the opt-in Beta phase of its development, where we can begin to collect feedback and collaborate with you, our community, to make it even better!

What's In The Bastion?

Inside your Bastion, you'll discover 15 rooms, from the Guildhall and Observatory to the War Room and Legendary Forge! Each room is tied to a specific game feature, giving you quick access to that feature along with helpful tips for getting the most out of it.

Your Bastion isn't empty, either! You'll find your Champions wandering its halls and striking up conversations with each other as they make themselves at home.

Experienced players will begin with most, if not all, of the rooms already unlocked. Newer players will unlock additional rooms as they progress through the game and meet specific requirements.

And don't worry: opting in to the Bastion Beta will not remove access to any game features you've already unlocked.

Customizable UI

The Bastion update also allows you to customize the buttons in the DPS box in the top-left corner of the game for non-gamepad UI players, so you can prioritize features you use on a regular basis and remove ones you do not!

How to Join the Bastion Beta

Interested in trying the Bastion? The first time you load the game after the Beta becomes available on your platform, you'll see a pop-up introducing the Bastion and giving you the option to opt in. Once you opt in, you'll need to restart your game. After restarting, you can access the Bastion at any time using the new Bastion icon in the top-left corner of the game. On PC, look for the new double-wide Bastion button!

If at any point you wish to opt-out of the Bastion beta, you can do so in the Settings menu. If you wish to opt-in again after that, you can do that as well through the Settings menu or by clicking on the small Bastion icon on the DPS box in the top-left corner.

Highharvestide & 9th Anniversary Celebration!

Faerûn's

has no shortage of dangers, but that hasn't stopped the citizens of Triboar from carving out a living in this picturesque stretch of fertile northern farmland.

This year, however, the people of Triboar are in need of aid. As the Highharvestide Festival approaches, bandits have begun causing trouble for farmers attempting to bring in their harvests, and it's up to the Champions to put an end to it!

Highharvestide returns with one New Champion and three fresh rebalances! Caramon Majere, Raistlin's twin brother, and the latest Heroes of the Lance Champion to come to the game, is available to unlock today!

Instead of a single reworked Champion this month, THREE of this event's Champions have had targeted rebalances, pumping up their numbers to make them more effective in your formations. You'll find updates to Stoki, Pwent, and Corazón available for flex slots now!

Featured Champion

Caramon

Born strong of arm and broad of shoulder with a heart of gold, Caramon Majere is the Sword to his younger twin brother Raistlin's Sorcery. Loyal to a fault, Caramon gives his all to protect his beloved friends and family, even (and often) to his detriment. Together with his fellow Heroes of the Lance, Caramon wields his brute strength tempered with good morals against Takhisis, the Dragon Queen.

Flex Champions

Flex Slots allow players to unlock additional Champions and earn chests during events, choosing from a pool of retired Champions associated with the event. This collection of retired Champions includes the Champions from previous years of the event as well as some Champions whose events have been retired. This event's Flex Slot pool includes:

Stoki Rebalance

We've rebalanced Stoki with a focus on making her gold find ability more comparable to other gold find Champions in her seat whose names start with "Er" and end with "ic".
We've adjusted Golden Palm to make it more competitive with other Champions in the same bench seat. The base value has been slightly lowered, but it now stacks multiplicatively, allowing for a much higher ceiling.
Building Focus: Encouragement has been buffed to reduce the base attack cooldown of adjacent Champions by 1 second instead of 0.5 seconds.
We've made the feat and equipment buffs to Stoki's specializations buff the pre-stack values instead of the post-stack values. This has necessitated some small tweaks to her specialization stacks and base effects:

All Out Assault now only counts attacks within the last 5 seconds instead of 10, but the base value is twice as large, so it works out to roughly the same values unbuffed, and significantly more when buffed by equipment.
We've made a similar change to A Little Bit Faster Now, halving the stacks but doubling the base value.

We have redone all of Stoki's upgrades.

Pwent Rebalance

We've rebalanced Pwent with a focus on increasing his flexibility and power in both Companions of the Hall and Dwarf-based formations.
Gutbuster Recruits now only loses half its stacks when changing areas, instead of all of its stacks. This should increase Pwent's effectiveness when completing areas near your wall.
Bruenor, Me King! can now be buffed by feats and equipment, and these buffs apply to the pre-stack value.
We've adjusted some of Pwent's specializations to realize more power for dwarf-centered formations:

Recruiting Drive now causes crits from any Dwarves in the formation to always count towards Gutbuster Recruits.
Critical Wound's critical hit chance increase is now doubled for Dwarves.

We have redone all of Pwent's upgrades.

Corazón Rebalance

We've rebalanced Corazón with a focus on increasing his support number.
Pirate's Code's effect has been increased based on the number of Champions affected by it, with this additional effect being buffed pre-stack by feats and equipment.
Honorary Crewmates now buffs the base effect of Pirate's Code based on how many non-neutral Champions it makes neutral.
G.O.A.T. Pirate has been tweaked to increase its potential. It no longer lasts until reset, but now stacks multiplicatively with a higher base effect and reset when a boss area is completed.
The Mage Hand specialization now causes Corazón's base attack to also be Magical, allowing him to be used in magic-centered formations.
We have redone all of Corazón's upgrades.

Event Augments for Highharvestide 2026

Golden Offers: One of your weekly offers will be Golden during this event. Golden offers provide an additional 10% discount! The Golden tag persists when an offer is rerolled.
Auto-Blacksmith: Event Champions whose recruitment adventure or variants you complete gain common rarity equipment in all slots, if they don't already have better.
Every tier two or higher event variant completed automatically applies 100 Tiny Blacksmithing Contracts to the variant's Champion's equipment for free!
Challenge Week: A Mastery Challenge will start on the third week of the event, providing opportunities to prove your formation building skills and earn unique rewards.
Supercharged Damage Boon: The Global Damage Boon is supercharged, granting 2,000,000% additional damage per level, instead of 200% (stacking multiplicatively).
